Self Help

The Law Library/Self-Help Room is located on the first floor of the Courthouse, across from the elevators. The purpose of the library is to provide a free resource for members of the public to conduct legal research on their own behalf.  To that end, there are public access computers with internet access for looking up appropriate forms and conducting legal research. Westlaw, a legal research resource, is provided for free as well on these computers. The library/self-help room is available to the public from 8:30am-4:30pm M-F, barring closures on public holidays. The attendant law librarian may offer assistance as to the location of requested forms or research tools, but may not offer any legal advice or conduct any legal research on a patron’s behalf.
